The spotlight shines once again on British songstress Adele after 5 years of being out of the limelight.

According to Hits Daily Double, the caged songbird is breaking out of her prison and is set to release a new album later this year.

Adele is set to return to XL/Columbia and will release her new album on November 20, 2015, just in time for the new year. In addition, the "Rolling in the Deep" singer will be releasing one single from her new album a week or two before the album hits stores, reports Entertainment Tonight.

No official title has been given to either the album or the single as of yet. However, Perez Hilton believes that new album will be called "25," keeping up with the name of her last album, "21."

Back in 2015, the reclusive singer posted a Tweet saying, "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year...."

The tweet led fans to think that Adele would release an album later in the year. To their disappointment, however, no album came out. ET points out that Adele is 27 now, making the title "25" less likely.

Meanwhile, Rap-Up shares that Adele allegedly worked with Danger Mouse, Max Martin and Tobias Jesso Jr. on her new album. One Republic's Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote Adele's hit song "Rumour Has It," also reportedly helped the British singer with her upcoming album.

According to Perez Hilton, Adele has already made deals with NBC to perform songs from her new album. It has been confirmed that Adele will perform on "Saturday Night Live" and the "Today Show." It is also possible that she will appear on "The Tonight Show" hosted by Jimmy Fallon, but this has not been confirmed yet.

Adele's new album is just in time for the end of her contract with XL Sony. However, she will reportedly get resigned by the record label in a $50 million contract deal.

"21" featured great hits by the "Skyfall" songstress like, "Set Fire to the Rain" and "Someone Like You."

The album won Adele seven Grammy Awards back in 2011. According to Grammy.com Adele has won a total of ten Grammys in her career so far, including "Album of the Year."

Thus far, "21" has sold over 11 million copies in the United States along and more than 30 million globally, states The New York Times.
