The Xbox One app beta for Windows 10 has gone live in the Windows Store and Microsoft users can already experience it.

IBN Live reported that Microsoft fulfilled its promise to give users this app program which provides Xbox fans "an opportunity to provide early inputs on features and enhancements coming to the gaming app on the latest software."

It added that this application almost works similar to the Xbox One Preview Program which allows users to test new features and give feedback on new products.

In addition, SegmentNext said that this will also give players a better experience especially with the addition of a new dashboard and a whole lot of feature.

"Microsoft is currently prepping for the massive November update that is supposed to completely revamp the user experience for everyone who owns their consoles and uses Windows 10 -- and apparently, things are going pretty well so far," noted the same report.

In using this beta app, users can also reportedly keep their connections in their community since they will be allowed to view feeds, watch game videos, send messages and find friends.

Gamers are also given the opportunity "to stream Xbox One games on your Windows 10 PC" and share their game videos and monitor their achievements.

"[You also get to] party chat with other gamers on Windows 10 PC and Xbox One and join them in cross-device multiplayer with games like Fable Legends and Gigantic," added SegmentNext.

Aside from this, SlashGear mentioned that the Xbox website will also have to new useful features -- access of voice messages directly from the website and game demos are now part of search results.

It claimed that this will make the user experience more convenient for the gamers.

GameSpot, however, noted that some of the games, features and functionalities of the app may not work well during the beta phase since bugs and issues are expected.

The report said that there could be problems on some games like "Destiny: The Taken King," "Borderlands: The Handsome Collection," "Forza Motorsport 6" and "Assassin's Creed Unity." The issues could range from graphical errors to crashes and freezes in the games.

It was also clarified in the GameSpot report that the beta "will not be available for everyone right away."

"Our goal is to start with a group, get feedback, then roll out to larger groups for additional feedback over time," explained Microsoft's Mike Ybarra.

The company has reportedly began with people "who have historically submitted the most feedback," in rolling out the application.

For those interested to try it, the beta app can be installed for free through this link.
