Here's a quick short guide to playing "Destiny: The Taken King."

 1: Leveling Up

According to VG24/7, "The Taken King" has a completely different system for leveling up. First, gamers need to know that there are two different leveling systems. There is the normal type of leveling system, which solely relies on XP and is locked at level 40.

Then there is the Light level, which seems to be the more important one. It corresponds to the overall toughness of a Guardian. It is the average of the Guardian's Defense and Attack values on their armour, weapons, class item and Ghost.

To level up in the light level, gamers have to reach level 40. Playing "The Taken King Quest" is a must in order to reach level cap. Click here to learn how to reach level 40 in one day.

After reaching level 40, gamers can then concentrate on increasing their light level. To level up light, simply equip better gear. For other ways to gain light, click here.

2: Dreadnaught Chests Locations

There are 10 Dreadnaught Chests in the game, Segment Next reported. The first chest, Akka, can be found on a platform, which faces the Court of Oryx at the right-hand side.

Yuul, another chest, can be found by heading right from the Court of Oryx platform. After reaching the walkway, head to the terrace and use a Ghost to climb invisible platforms. The Yuul chest will be on the other side on a different terrace.

The next chest, Ur, can be found in Dreadnaught. First, jump off the lowest ledge, then turn around and enter a hallway. On the first intersection turn right to find the Ur chest.

Next, to get to the Maggots Chest, go to the area where the Mausoleum connects with Hull Breach. Go inside the door, located between the staircases and turn left.

The Scent chest is a bit tricky to find. After reaching the Maggots chest, let your character de-buff, so they get blurred vision. Then, you have only 60 seconds to reach the Scent chest.

The locations to the remaining chests -- Xol, Eir, Spawn, Gnashing Teeth and Wyrding -- can be seen in the video below.

#3: Infusion

Lazy Gamers listed a couple pointers to help understand the basics of the Infusion System and how it actually works.

First, know that Legendary gear and Ghosts can be infused. Infusions are permanent, so really think about them before doing it.

Before infusing, make sure the items are the same type. This means primary weapons are for primary infusions, and torso armour are for torso infusions only. However, primary infusions do not necessarily need to use the same type of primary weapons. For example, to buff a hand cannon, gamers can infuse it with a pulse rifle.
