HBO's hit TV series "Game of Thrones" is rumored to feature a new major villain in its highly anticipated sixth season as some parts of a major scene are being filmed in the small village of Ballintoy in Northern Ireland.

Pilou Asbæk, a Danish actor who played Paolo Orsini on "The Borgias," plays Kasper Juul in the successful local TV series "Borgen" alongside GoT guest star Birgitte Hjort Sørensen.

According to fansite Watchers on the Wall, Asbæk was spotted with the rest of the cast of the epic historical drama along the Ballintoy Harbor where he plays a new character: Euron Greyjoy.

According to the Huffington Post, the addition of Greyjoy to the story, for those who have not read the book, would not bring more 'joy' to fans especially to those who love Balon Greyjoy, Theon's dad.

This is because in "A Storm of Swords, the third book of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, Euron somehow initiates Balon's death, something which the outlet consider to be overdue from the TV series.

Furthermore, the Huffington Post described Euron as a "terrible guy" whose men wreak havoc, tries to lead the iron born and would even go after Daenerys' dragons.

Asbæk character was also prophesized by Moqorro, a Red Priest, to be the biggest threat to Dany.

"The Priest sees a shadow in the flames that's a 'tall and twisted thing with one black eye and ten long arms, sailing on a sea of blood.' Euron wears an eyepatch that is said to cover a black eye," the report read.

According to the fansite, the scene being filmed at the Ballintoy Harbor involves a traditional ceremony called the "kings most" where the crowd cheers for Euron Greyjoy.

This, as described the Vulture, was something "pivotal" for the story since it is a ceremony done by longship captains to choose their king.

Watchers on the Wall also noted how Yara, as well as Aeron Greyjoy, were present in the scene, with the latter seemingly "leading the Kingsmoot and speaking often."

Victarion Greyjoy was nowhere to be seen, an indication that he may have already "joined Arianne and Quentyn Martell in book-only purgatory" as Vulture described.

Meanwhile, Ian McShane was also seen on set which means he is starring in the series as either Septon Meribald, a character rumored to appear in the new season; or Randyll Tarly, Sam Tarly's father who was already mentioned during the show's fifth season.
