Shakira is still the undisputed Most Liked Person on Facebook in the 2016 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.

The Colombian singer's official Facebook page has 107,142,986 likes, with football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo coming in at second place with 102,782,118, Billboard reported. In July 2014, Shakira was the first person to gain more than 100 million following on an official Facebook page, with her appearance at the 2014 FIFA World Cup contributing to her social media popularity. She also held the Guinness position last year.

Facebook for Every Phone (547,111,981) and Facebook itself (169,250,505) are the only two Facebook pages have more likes than Shakira's, Billboard added.

According to Billboard, the 38-year-old's most popular post up to now is a photo she shared from Rio de Janeiro's Maracaná stadium before her performance in the World Cup's closing ceremony. The snapshot earned 3.5 million likes in just a span of four days.

"I am honored and humbled about reaching this milestone, because it's one that's purely about connecting with my fans from all parts of the globe," Shakira said in an official statement in July 2014, adding that "social media and specifically Facebook" has helped her other artists to "bridge the gap between the stage and the audience."

She continued, "We've been able to create a conversation, where both artists and fans can share with one another their thoughts, achievements, the most important moments of their lives in photographs and videos, and have a real, ongoing dialogue."

Shakira Joins Voice Cast of 'Zootopia'

Walt Disney Animation recently named Shakira as one of the voice casts of "Zootopia."

She joins Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman in the upcoming animated film, The Hollywood Reporter wrote. The "Waka Waka" singer is set to voice a sultry character named Gazelle. She tweeted a photo of the character earlier in August. Check it out here.

Aside from voicing Gazelle, Shakira will also record an all-original song titled "Try Everything" for the upcoming film. The track is written by singer-songwriter Sia and songwriting duo Stargate, ComicBook reported.

"Zootopia" will tell the story of Judy Hopps (Goodwin), the first female bunny in the police force who will team up with a cunning scam-artist fox named Nick Wilde (Bateman) to solve a mystery, The Hollywood Reporter wrote.

The movie is slated for release in theaters on March 4, 2016, Entertainment Weekly wrote. Byron Howard of "Tangled" and Rich Moore of "Wreck-It Ralph" are set to direct the flick from a script written by Jared Bush, who also co-directs the project.
