The Suicide Squad is a group of villains put together to do dangerous tasks that the government just does not want to risk good soldiers (or heroes) for.

However, what started as a group of individuals forced together to form a team of villains looking to redeem themselves became a real-life squad, with matching tattoos to cement their friendship.

Unlikely story, huh? But one that the cast of David Ayer's "Suicide Squad" is going with.

And they're giving each other the said tattoos, too. Take that, cast of "Lord of the Rings!"

Entertainment Weekly reported that on Tuesday, Ayer tweeted photos of Margot Robbie (who plays Harley Quinn) from Harley's Tattoo Parler Parlour.

The actress, donned in her full Harley costume, was wielding a tattoo gun while getting her movie director inked on the forearm.

Producer Andy Horowitz captioned an Instagram photo of Robbie at work, "Our fearless leader #DavidAyer getting his #SKWAD tattoo last night at #harleystattooparlour #suicidesquad."

Later, other Squad members like Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg) and Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang) started posting photos of their tattoos, which read "SKWAD".

Kinnaman's photo indicated that the tattoo was courtesy of Will Smith (Deadshot). He captioned, "Will has many many talents, tattooing is not one of them. It was like watching a drunk baby fly a helicopter."

Jai Courtney already has a few tattoos, but displayed the freshly inked "SKWAD" on his forearm as well.

It remains to be seen whether or not the tattoos are authentic, but People Magazine said the tattoo gun looks pretty real.

In other "Suicide Squad" news, there is still no confirmation as to who the Joker in the film really is.

Others reckon it's the original villain, while others think it could be the original Robin after he went crazy.

The theories have been ripping the DC fandom apart, but Metro reported that with an older Batman from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", it is actually reasonable that a lot of things already happened, including a former sidekick-turned-villain story.

This conclusion was made by Geek Tyrant upon carefully studying the "BvS" trailer together with a photo of Jared Leto's Joker.

What the site found out is that the damage on Robin's suit from the trailer matched to scars on Leto's Joker's shoulders.

The film, which also stars Cara Delevigne and Jared Leto as Enchantress and Joker respectively, will hit theaters in August 2016.
