HBO inadvertently revealed the fate of fan-favorite "Game of Thrones" character Jon Snow by releasing merchandise as a sort of tribute for those who have died in the show's previous seasons.

E! News' "Watch with Kristin" revealed on Monday how the studio accidentally confirmed that Jon Snow, played by Kit Harrington, would still remain a part of the TV series despite being stabbed multiple times during the finale of the show's fifth season.

Pedestrian revealed that HBO sent out an email to news outlets about their new "Game of Thrones" merchandise in the form of toys dubbed as the "Honour The Fallen: The Memoriam Collection."

As the name suggests, this line of miniature GoT characters only include those that have 'fallen' or were already dead since the series' debut.

The toy sale only included characters such as The Hound, Joffrey, Oberyn Martell and others but what is more interesting is that there was no mention of Jon Snow being included in the merchandise anywhere in the email.

Of course, fans were quick at getting the hint and immediately speculated that Jon Snow would still be part of the TV series even after being stabbed "apparently to death" in the show's latest episode.

Pedestrian also reported other clues that show how Harrington would still be with the cast after he was spotted in numerous situations.

It points to what every Jon Snow fan wanted - his continued appearance in the show.

In fact, every little detail including the length of his beard and hair as well as his proximity with the GoT cast are considered a sign that he would still be in the show whether not dead or undead.

But according to ComicBook.com, Jon Snow's absence in the "Game of Thrones" toy sale may be due to other reasons, including his level of popularity among the audience that HBO intentionally neglected to put him on marked down sale.

"Perhaps, compared to these other corpses, Jon's merchandise sells well enough on its own that HBO just doesn't have a compelling reason to discount it," the report read.

Vanity Fair said that though the toy line of dead characters had been thorough from the first to the fourth season, there had been many who died during the fifth season - not just Snow-who were not included in the merchandise.

Characters like Shireen, Barristan, Mance Rayder, Maester Aemon, Stannis, among others all died during the latest season of the show but they are a no-show in the toy line.

Again, all these should be taken as a grain of salt since HBO continues to let fans simmer in anticipation for the upcoming season 6 of the "Game of Thrones."
