When Mike Tyson came to see the training of UFC champion Ronda Rousey, he could not believe his eyes that he was seeing himself in the young female fighter.

The boxing icon, according to ESPN, saw how Rousey repeatedly slumped her judo coach into the canvas like they were both men fighting against each other.

"It just doesn't look fun no more," Tyson said when he finally spoke up.

But the female UFC fighter replied with "It's fun for me. I don't know about him."

According to ESPN, Tyson had so much similarities with Rousey including his skill to overwhelm every opponent he faced. Even UFC president Dana White had to agree.

"These are two of the greatest to ever walk the planet in their sports. Not many people in the world can relate to that," White told ESPN.

After watching her fight, Tyson said in a Yahoo Sports report that he already understood why Rousey has earned so much respect in her sport.

"Ronda is a lady and she's bright, kind, sweet and adorable. But her whole barometer [as a fighter] is, she's the killer. She has that killer aura, meaning anything is capable of happening. Whoa! That's exciting before the fight even starts," the boxer said.

Tyson was reportedly impressed most with the MMA fighter's striking.

In a separate Daily News report, Tyson gave more praises to Rousey as he described her as "great and awesome."

"It's hard to stay cutting edge when you're talking about a human being, but this is really cutting-edge stuff," he added.

After her training, Daily News said Rousey had the opportunity to talk also about Tyson's visit before she prepared for the ESPY where she won Best Fighter of the year outclassing undefeated American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

She said that training before the great boxer was "a surreal experience" for her.

"I'm really glad Mike was able to come, but I really don't think it's till I beat Bethe and go home and go back to the hotel and look at myself in the mirror for the first time, like (Tyson) was saying, that moment after it all, it hits you. And he knows better than anyone what that moment is like. And I think that's the time it's really gonna hit me," she added.

The female UFC Champ has dominated her sport without a stain in her record. Rousey is also known for knocking down her opponents very fast inside the Octagon, the last being her 14-second victory against Cat Zingano at UFC 184 last February.

She is set to go against Brazilian fighter Bethe Correia on August 1 in Rio de Janeiro.
