The week is coming to a close. The spring is bleeding into summer. Although it should be a time of jubilance and optimism, "50 Shades of Grey" fans remain glum. June begins tomorrow, and there's still no word from E. L. James or Universal Studios concerning their casting decisions for the upcoming "50 Shades" film. It doesn't come as much surprise. By now, most fans are numb to the disappointment. They will make a decision one day. When that will be is up for debate, however fans have been diligent and patient. As they wait, fan polls, twitter rumors and mock trailers have taken their mind off their frustration. Several names continue to top polls and get fans drooling, but every week it's a different story, and although Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer remain top contenders for the role of Christian Grey, another potential candidate is making quite a splash in the wake of the "Man of Steel" premiere.

Henry Cavill has quickly established himself as one of the top Christian candidates. Although it may be a result of his fans' speculations, he has entered the "50 Shades" arena, and he's not leaving anytime soon. As Latinos Post previously reported, fans are going crazy over the man in blue. Superman as Christian Grey? It makes sense. They're basically one and the same. And now that "Man of Steel" has hit theaters, the Cavill ruckus continues to dominate the twittersphere.
