Paulina Rubio posted a mysterious video on Facebook indicating that she could be pregnant with her second child.

The Mexican singer hinted about the assumed pregnancy in a clip posted on her official Facebook page. On Twitter, she wrote: "Excited because my first love is coming back to intensify my life. I've been dying to tell you!" The tweet was accompanied by a link to her Facebook post.

"I am very happy and I wanted to tell you because you are my greatest support," Rubio addressed her fans in the Facebook video, as quoted by Latin Times. "My life has made an unexpected turn. Truthfully this surprised me, I don't know, it's like if a love from the past returned full of force, light and happiness. I feel like a big explosion inside, in my chest, in my heart. I'm euphoric and it's lighting up the strongest tie that I wanted to tell you."

The "Mi Nuevo Vicio" singer's cryptic announcement prompted speculations that her son, Andrea Nicolás, could have a little brother or sister soon, Latin Times noted. However, the news outlet also pointed out that Rubio's recent video could also be a new campaign for a beauty line she endorses.

The 43-year-old entertainer is currently in a relationship with Gerardo Bazúa, the news outlet wrote. She was formerly married to Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera from 2005-2013. When asked about his ex-wife's pregnancy, Vallejo-Nágera said he would "send my congratulations, flowers and the best wishes" if the rumors turns out to be true, Latin Times added.

Paulina Rubio Performs in 'Nuestra Belleza Latina' Finale

Rubio graced the Season 9 finale of "Nuestra Belleza Latina" with a performance of her new track titled "Mi Nuevo Vicio," Latin Times wrote. The finale saw Dominican Francisca Lachapel crowned as the new winner of the beauty pageant.

The song, which also features up-and-coming Colombian band Morat, was produced by Mauricio Reginfo, a separate report from the news outlet reported. The track serves as Rubio's sneak peek of her upcoming 11th studio album, Idolator noted.

Rubio had a three-year break before the release of her latest song. During her absence from the music scene, the singer focused on her television career, particularly in coaching contestants of "La Voz Mexico" and "La Voz Kids" (US). A separate report from Latin Times wrote that she also crossed over as a judge of "X-Factor" together with Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, and Simon Cowell.

According to Huffington Post, Rubio is considered as "the reigning queen of Latino pop" for over 25 years. She has released multiple albums since 1982, reportedly selling 20 million records worldwide.

Rubio first got her start as the vocalist of the Mexican children's group Timbiriche, which Thalia was also a part of, Idolator recalled.
