It's only the first season, but "Better Call Saul" already has plenty of fans considering that it's the spinoff of the hit series, "Breaking Bad," which had a cult following.

Set before the events of the hit series, fans have been wondering for quite some time if Walter White (Bryan Cranston) or Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) will ever have an appearance. It may be a long shot, but if The Hollywood Reporter's facts are correct, anything is possible as creator Peter Gould said that "we have a ways to go" before either character show up.

Deadline pointed out that "Better Call Saul" takes the series back six years before the events of "Breaking Bad." A struggling Jimmy McGill turning into the lawyer that we all came to love as Saul Goodman in the original series can be seen, however.

Should Walter and Jesse appear, they will not be the first ones to make cameos in the prequel spinoff, as Deadline noted that drug lord Tuco Salamanca already made an appearance, as did Saul's fixer, Mike. Gould admitted that the spinoff will definitely overlap with "Breaking Bad" and hinted that Jimmy's journey before he became Saul can easily overlap with any of the characters.

When Deadline asked in its interview with Gould if it's possible that we may meet Walter in an incidental scene, maybe just at the mall, Gould's reply remained vague. Saying that "You could, I don't know. Would that be what everyone will be excited about? I feel like personally I'd be more excited to see Walter White if it meant something than if it were just a cameo in the background. Having said that, I wouldn't rule anything out."

A report from website Vox also posed the reality that despite Jimmy's character in "Better Call Saul," he will eventually change to become the lawyer he was in "Breaking Bad," so while Bob Odenkirk's character is still struggling with the good and evil in the series, no fan could hope that he will eventually go to the good side because even before the spinoff started airing, we already know the endgame, and it won't be pretty for Jimmy nor Saul.

Do you think Walter White and Jesse Pinkman will appear at some point in Season 2, or is Gould just teasing fans about an event that will not happen anytime soon? Let's hope their appearance will come sooner than later.
