The latest players to be traded in the NFL are free agent running back Frank Gore who will reportedy sign with the Philadelphia Eagles and Ndamukong Suh who is said to be going with the Miami Dolphins.

ESPN said Gore is set to sign this week, a three-year deal with the Eagles with an estimated $7.5 million guarantee for the first two years.

If the running back will ink this contract, it will mark the end of his 10-year stay with the San Francisco 49ers.

It was added in the ESPN report that Gore is the kind of player that Eagles coach Chip Kelly really wants to have on his team. The running back is known to be coming off four straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons and he has also rushed for more than 1,000 yards in the eight of nine seasons he played. He only failed to do the feat for a season because of a broken hip which caused him to miss five games.

Meanwhile, free agent Ndamukong Suh is said to be in the final phase before he agrees to sign a six-year contract with the Dolphins worth $114 million, Fox Sports said.

The Dolphins have been negotiating with Jimmy Sexton, Suh's agent since Saturday, which was also the beginning of the NFL's "legal tampering" period where teams can already start discussions on the free agents they want to acquire starting Tuesday, according to Fox Sports.

Suh's signing with the Dolphins seems to be a done deal already as ESPN's Chris Mortensen wrote that only "a breakdown in formal contract negotiations" would stop his movement to Miami.

A similar Yahoo Sports report discussed that the said contract will guarantee Suh with $60 million. It was also noted that this agreement is not a surprise as rumors of the player's transfer to Miami have been circling months before.

The amount of the contract, as noted by Yahoo Sports, is something that will raise the bar for defensive players in the NFL as it noted that Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt was only able to commit to a $100 million deal with a $51.8 million guaranteed. This is certainly far from what Suh will be getting in the possible deal with the Dolphins.

Reports said that Suh deserves what he has been deemed as "one of the best defensive free agents" in the league who will be available in the open market. Yahoo Sports said that nobody has achieved this tag since Reggie White and Deion Sanders during the 1990s.

As free agent acquisition starts Tuesday, fans and sports analysts are sure to pay attention on what Gore and Suh's next step will be in their NFL career.
