Jennifer Lopez was quick to defend women who date younger men in an interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday.

Lopez pointed out that society doesn't have a label for when the situations are reversed.

"There's nothing wrong with that. I hate they have a label for a woman who would date a younger guy. If a younger guy is interested in you, what's the big deal? What's the word for the man who's after younger girls?", she was quoted by NY Daily News.

"I'm not after younger guys. If younger guys like me then that's one thing. But there's, like, guys who just go after younger women. They have no name. No label. There's just a little bit of an imbalance there. Not fair," the pop star added.

The singer-actress also addressed questions about her "The Boy Next Door" co-star Ryan Guzman.

For Lopez, the 27-year-old actor is "cute," "fun," and "a gentleman." The two were last spotted arriving together at the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards, NY Daily News reported.

When asked by DeGeneres whether she is romantically involved with Guzman, the 45-year-old "I Luh Ya Papi" insisted that her relationship with the actor is only platonic. Given that Lopez previously dated Casper Smart for almost 3 years, it would not be shocking if she starts having romantic relations with Guzman. NY Daily News noticed that the two men have the same age.

The news outlet also pointed out that the actor's character (Noah Sandborn) on "The Boy Next Door" looked a lot older in the film's steamy scenes, where he "appears to dominate Lopez's Claire Peterson."

J.Lo too sexy for her age?

Lopez, the mother of 6-year-old twins named Max and Emme, also opened up about people criticizing her sexy persona in the February/March issue of Complex magazine. According to the actress, criticisms are thrown into her way because of the manner she dresses and performs, which, as detractors say, are too improper for her age, Daily Mail reported.

"I'm not allowed to be sexy because I'm a mom? It's like, how do you think I got my children?" she asked, as quoted by the news outlet.

Needless to say, the singer-actress isn't apologizing for who she is. She also thinks that what she shares with the public is a good message for women.

"Women need to see that and feel that. You can't let the fear of what people might say or think stop you from doing what you want to do or else we would never do anything," Lopez further explained, as reported by Daily Mail.
