The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will take off on February 8, and fans can expect the biggest names in the music industry to make an appearance in the awards show.

Grammy.com confirmed that "hard rock veterans AC/DC, country rocker Eric Church, pop star Ariana Grande, seven-time GRAMMY-winning pop icon Madonna, and singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran are the first performers announced for the 57th GRAMMY Awards telecast."

According to Latin Times, Madonna first hinted on January 13 about performing at the Grammy Awards. On her Twitter account, she posted a photo of her "Rebel Heart" artwork combined with a Grammy Award: "Rebel Hearts see you Feb 8th @TheGRAMMYs #GRAMMY's #rebelheart."

This would be the pop superstar's fifth appearance in the event, Rolling Stone reports. Last year, she performed "Same Love" and "Open Your Heart" with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. For this year, she is expected to sing "Living for Love," the first single off of her upcoming album "Rebel Heart," TV Line notes.

More performances from nominated artists

Grande, who is nominated in two categories: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Bang Bang" alongside Jessie J and Nicki Minaj, and Best Pop Vocal Album for "My Everything" will be performing at the Grammys for the first time.

Sheeren is up for three awards: Album of the Year, Best Pop Local Album for "X," and Best Song Written for Visual Media ("I See Fire") while Church is nominated in four categories: Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for "Give Me Back My Hometown," Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Raise 'Em Up" (with Keith Urban), and Best Country Album for "The Outsiders," according to Billboard.

Prepare for AC/DC

Rolling Stone notes that the event will be AC/DC's first major public appearance since the band released their latest album "Rock or Bust." The Grammys should probably "provide some clarity as to whether the rockers plan to move forward with or without embattled drummer Phil Rudd," Rolling Stone adds, since the musician is facing drug possession and threatening to kill charges in New Zealand.

Other rumored performers for the event are U2, Taylor Swift, and Minaj, according to a report from SPIN.

Who will win this year?

Multi-awarded artists like Beyoncé, Sam Smith, and Pharrell Williams scored six nominations each while Iggy Azalea, Jay Z, Drake, Beck, Sia, Gordon Goodwin, Miranda Lambert, Usher, and Jack White all have four Grammy nominations each, Latin Times adds.

You can check out the full list of nominees here.

The 57th Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center Stage and will air live on CBS on February 8.
