WWE has announced former New York Giant defensive end and current Live with Kelly & Michael co-host, Michael Strahan, will host the Monday Night Raw televised live the night after the Survivor Series, which will take place at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY.

Wade Barrett has cleared his visa problems and will be back in action, tweeting that he was heading back to the United States. Barrett's visa problem has kept him out of action though he did participate in the WWE's recent Mexican and European tour.

Ryback is reported to have backstage heat with management, who are upset that he has been doing Goldberg's wrestling moves in the ring - particularly The Jackhammer and The Spear - without getting clearance from officials. How Ryback's backstage heat will impact future plans for a potential feud against Brock Lesnar is not known yet, though both Curtis Axel and Ryback have been distancing them from Paul Heyman in recent weeks, with the manager proclaiming they are no longer "Heyman Guys". Ryback will likely feud with the former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion as a face with Heyman looking for revenge, blaming Ryback for allowing CM Punk to hospitalize him after beating him down with a kendo stick at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.

Former Ring of Honor (ROH) wrestler Colt Cabana recently stopped by the WWE Performance Center for his tryout for an announcing gig with the company. Cabana had mentioned that he was due for a try-out soon during Steve Austin's podcast. WWE has also given former ROH tag-team the American Wolves - Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards - a week-long tryout according to the PWInsider.com. The duo got a tryout at the insistence of supporters of the team, though the WWE had stated that they have enough independent circuit workers signed to the roster. Richards and Edwards may be in a line for a short-term trial deal that would send them to developmental in a few months.

The WWE has also recently signed Sarah Bachman - the eight-time World Arm Wrestling Champion, eight-time European Arm Wrestling Champion, and 11-time Swedish Arm Wrestling Champion - to a divas developmental NXT deal.

Lastly, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - who has been busy with various Hollywood projects including Hercules and Fast & Furious 7 - celebrated a wrestling anniversary with his Twitter followers, saying that, "Armed w/ ambition and a bad haircut. today in 1996, I made my WWE debut in Madison Square Garden. #ForeverGrateful."
