Another rumor bearing Samsung's upcoming flagship Galaxy S6 has floated online. This time, we get a glimpse of the handset's possible screen size -- and if it holds true, Apple's iPhone 6 Plus might finally face its direct competition.

According to SamMobile, a device believed to be the Galaxy S6 allegedly surfaced over benchmarking application AnTuTu. Based on the leaked screenshot (click to see), Samsung's next flagship is now rumored to pack a 5.5-inch display (same as iPhone 6 Plus).

It must be noted that the photo didn't actually mention "Galaxy S6." Instead, the handset went undercover as "SM-G925F." Nevertheless, current reports believe that it's all the same.

Familiar information follow. The data cited in the leaked image coincided with alleged specs we have earlier reported, such as a 2560 x 1440 resolution, octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 20 MP main camera, 5 MP front camera, 3 GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop support. A 32 GB ROM (or storage option, in our take) and ARM Mali-T760 GPU were also revealed.

As we have covered previously, the Galaxy S6 was also hinted to arrive in a Snapdragon 810-powered variant -- that of which has been reported to experience a number of issues, possibly delaying the release of the handset. Qualcomm's processor is expected to be the "brain" of 2015's best Android smartphones, wrote Phone Arena.

It has also been whispered that Galaxy S6 will have a Galaxy Note Edge-inspired variant called "Galaxy S6 Edge." Two options are expected so far: the device may have a one-sided, touch-interactive screen (single-edged), or it may pack a responsive "Edge" that extends along the screen's left and right sides (double-edged).

BGR wrote that the Korean tech giant is far from announcing the rumored S6. While the leaked image appeared to be inviting as ever, the outlet noted that things may change over time, most specially when Samsung finally takes the device's wraps off. After all, it's reportedly called "Project Zero," and we can only think of something that starts from scratch.

We took note of Phone Arena's prediction of the device's price, which could be $649 in full payment or $199 under a two-year contract.

It has been repeatedly speculated that Samsung's Galaxy S6 may launch in 2015's Mobile World Congress, set on Mar. 2 - 5 in Barcelona, Spain. Aside from S6, HTC's One M9 and Microsoft's Lumia 1030 were also rumored to make a first impression in the said event.
