As far as bitter ends go, actress Abigail Breslin and 5 Seconds of Summer member Michael Clifford have taken it to the next level.

The Hollywood Life noted that the 18-year-old actress had some pretty harsh words about her ex on her song, "You Suck," but it seems that Clifford is not letting it get to him, because despite the fact that Breslin is undoubtedly a good actress, her song "sucks."

When Clifford was asked by Shazam Top 20 host, Ash London, about his thoughts on Breslin's song, Clifford admitted to not speaking with Breslin for a year, and did not seem threatened by the song. He told London, "I was a little bit like whoa, yeah, what is this?"

Clifford also said, "It was just not great musically, like if it was a good song like an Ed Sheeran 'Don't', I'd applaud her, but it was bad. I don't know what to say about it. I'm just going to listen to Mariah Carey."

However, Breslin hasn't actually revealed to whom the song is directed to, 5SOS fans did not think twice about bashing the actress, noting how much her lyrics seemed to point at Clifford.

Even website SugarScape is not impressed with Breslin's songwriting skills, noting that unlike Taylor Swift who made a living out of relationship-bashing, Breslin did not put too much thought on her lyrics, making the song sound more like a gab on the phone with her best friend.

Breslin told Teen Vogue of her single, "This is a song I wrote about those guys who are players and use people and just generally aren't really good people. It's about things I've witnessed-it's not OK when guys don't have respect for girls. I wrote it in the heat of the moment, and I think a lot of people will relate to it."

According to the magazine, Breslin is going to debut a 12-song album on April, and "You Suck" is just the debut. Her album will be a range of songs from pop jams to ballads, and even electronic. She shared, "I created 'You Suck' with the Heatmakerz, and now I'm working with David Andronico. It kind of has an electronic sound. Some are more ballads, some are more upbeat and fun. Each song is kind of different-they're all mini stories."

But while Breslin is trying her hand at songwriting, Clifford and the rest of 5SOS announced that they will have a new live album to be released on December 15.
