There's a possibility that another major "Walking Dead" character would be killed off in the next episode.

Fans and loyal viewers of the popular series from AMC have speculated about a possible character death when a sneak peak of the next episode titled "Consumed" came out, according to International Business Times. As we all know, sudden characters deaths are no stranger to the "Walking Dead" storyline. Earlier this season, Bob (played by Lawrence Gilliard Jr.), was unfortunately bitten by a walker while looking for food.

Warning: Spoilers Alert!

In the first preview, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) appeared to be in a heroic mission while driving around heavily armed, following a car with a cross on it. The two entered a building filled with walkers in an attempt to save someone. During the last few seconds of the second sneak peak, Daryl was shown holding a body wrapped in a white sheet while standing in front of a fire. After placing the body gently to be engulfed in flames, Carol joins Daryl and says "thank you," International Business Times noted.

Naturally, the preview sent viewers rambling about the body Daryl burned in the fire. As what International Business Times noted, burying bodies is the typical "Walking Dead" fashion for the characters when it comes to disposing the dead ones who were dear to their hearts.

Then again, seeing as Daryl and Carol are in the middle of Atlanta, International Business Times also pointed out that the two probably just chose to burn the body because it's the best practical option for them at the moment.

Synopsis for "Consumed"

According to another article from International Business Times, the plot for "Consumed" reads, "Stakes are high when members of the group must go on a heroic rescue mission in a previously known location." We can safely assume that these heroes are Daryl and Carol, as what was shown in the episode preview.

International Business Times noted that some viewers think the dead body Daryl was holding belongs to Tyler James Williams' character, Noah. He was first introduced in episode four of the current season and had been one of the people Dawn's (Christine Woods) group in the Atlanta hospital cared for.

Noah, along with Beth (Emily Kinney), is desperate to leave Dawn's care, but the latter threatened him that he couldn't go unless he paid off his debts. He and Beth attempted to escape, but only Noah was able to succeed in the plan, as noted by International Business Times.

What do you think will happen to Noah and Beth? Do you think Daryl and Carol will be successful in their heroic mission? And most importantly, who is the dead body wrapped in the white sheet? Share your thoughts below.
