'GTA 5' PS4, PC & Xbox One Release Date, Trailer & News: 10 New 'Online' Jobs Out Ahead of Launch

By Staff Reporter| Oct 15, 2014

Rockstar Games has rolled out 10 new jobs before the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of "Grand Theft Auto" are released.

"The latest batch of Rockstar Verified GTA Online Jobs take us to the skies above Los Santos and Blaine County, with a squadron of ten Air Races, including our five official selections from the #FlightSchool Event Weekend Creator Competition," Rockstar said in the post.

According to the update, five of the new aerial job creators received "a cash infusion of GTA$1M plus the AVIATOR custom license plate for their ground-based endeavors" while the rest (the "runner-ups") get "the Rockstar Verified treatment, making them available to play across both PS3 and Xbox 360", as well as on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The new verified jobs are listed below as enumerated and described by Rockstar Games in the post:

Dedalus - A not-so-easy "long loop along the coastline" using the Swift.

Heli Low Fly Zone - The job is mainly low flying in a "three-minute Lap challenge."

Dusk - This involves "weaving through wind turbines and knifing between skyscrapers" during dusk.

Pylon Slalom - The challenge is to make use of "quick reactions and close control" to take on the deadly combination of "spinning helicopter blades and overhead power cables."

Sprunk Air Race #1 - "Loops and tight turns in the skies above Vespucci Beach make for an entertaining test for the most able pilots," describes Rockstar.

After School - The job is perfect for those "looking to take the Besra Training Jet for an off-curriculum cruise" with its varied route and captivating aerial view.

Chopper Bombing - Players will go on "a 'near-suicidal descent', followed by a 'treetop-trimming run through Paleto Bay'" from the peak of Mt. Chiliad.

Chopper Killer - Rockstar describes the game saying, "Another challenging race in the Swift helicopter, with players starting out at the docks and working their way through downtown, squeezing between buildings and climbing to pass over the Maze Bank Tower."

SA Flight School: Racing - This reportedly "stands out from the rest", daring players to fly low, make tight turns, "climb steeply" and do forced "dive downs."

The Flyby - This job is a "great, high speed Jet Race with good variation," said Rockstar.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of "GTA 5" will be out Nov. 18 while the PC game will be released at a later date of Jan. 27, 2015.

According to Rockstar Games in a previous post, the next-gen game console and PC versions will have "new weapons, vehicles and activities, additional wildlife, denser traffic, new foliage system, enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more."
