Miranda Lambert Tour: Hawaii Stop Got 'Platinum' Singer Flaunting Her Sexy Body

By Staff Reporter| Sep 24, 2014

Country music superstar Miranda Lambert enjoyed some sun during the Hawaii leg of her Platinum Tour. The 30-year-old singer was spotted hitting the waves looking trim in a chevron-printed bikini.

The blonde, who has worked incredibly hard to shed 45 pounds, took a well-deserved break and showed off what hard work looks like. She wore a black and white bikini and dark shades. The short-haired crooner topped off the casual look with bright red nails.

The singer took time to share a collage of photos taken during her Honolulu trip on her Instagram page.

The singer has been very open about her journey for a healthier life. E! News recalled a Women's Health interview wherein the singer spoke about the difficulties of weight loss.

"...the scale is something that can be your worst enemy when you're trying to lose weight...I usually just judge by my clothes."

Lambert, wife of "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton, also discussed the challenges of maintaining a trim physique saying, "it's really easy to gain weight and it's really hard to lose weight." She also stressed the importance of keeping your eye on the prize.

"If I ate bad in the morning, I tried to do better at night, or vice versa. Just not blowing it all day long, every day," confessed the singer.

The difficult thing about Miranda's successful weight loss are the rumors that have surrounded her triumph. US Magazine recalls that the "Automatic" singer headlined in November 2013 after a dramatic weight loss that had many whispering about alleged surgery.

"Though I NEVER care what the tabloids have to say about me... I wanted to address this certain story they are running this week and set the record straight. I DID NOT have surgery to lose weight. That is ridiculous. I lost my weight the healthy and good old fashioned way," wrote the country A-Lister on her blog.

She noted that the combination of a healthy diet and working out with trainer Bill Crutchfield helped her reach her fitness goals. She revealed she is proud of her accomplishments but maintained that it's not about the pounds shed, but more about feeling good and how clothes fit.

"I am proud to be a normal size girl and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size. Thanks for the support yall!," concluded Lambert.

The trip marks the final leg of her 2014 North American tour with her last performance to be on Oct. 5, per The Inquisitr. She will begin her second set of performances immediately after the New Year, on Jan. 2.
