iPhone 6 Release Sept. 19 2014: Where to Buy if You Didn't Pre-Order Online

By Jonathan Moore| Sep 18, 2014

Have you decided you're getting a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus? Did you pre-order your device online through Apple or another retailer? No? Well don't worry. We'll show you where you can pick up a brand new iPhone tomorrow without having to wait in some obscenely long line outside of and Apple Store.

Your're welcome.

The dirty little secret about the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is that pretty much any every retailer even remotely associated with electronics will be selling them starting tomorrow. You can just head down to any office or technology retail outlet and expect to have no problem picking up your new iPhone--probably.

But that's pretty vague, so here's exactly where to go if you want to avoid Apple Store lines.

Mobile Carrier Retail Locations

AT&T stores will be carrying the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus starting tomorrow morning and they're offering trade-in deals on old iPhones. You can get up to $300 of store credit for an iPhone 5s and up to $200 for your old iPhone 5, 5c, 4s or iPhone 4.

AT&T is selling the 16GB iPhone 6 for $199 with a new two-year contract agreement. Users can opt to put $0 down and instead pay the entire retail cost of the phone over the next 24 months, which for the 16GB model comes out to $27.09 a month. The 16B version of the iPhone 6 Plus is available through AT&T for $299 on a two year contract, or $0 down plus $31.25 per month for 24 months.

Sprint is selling the new iPhones in a couple of ways. Users can pay the standard $199 (16GB iPhone 6) or $299 (16GB iPhone 6 Plus) for their iPhone along with a new two-year contract. Another option allows users to put down $52 and pay $77.09 a month for the next 24 months, which also covers unlimited talk, text and data.

T-Mobile claims they will match any other carrier's trade-in offer, plus give you an additional $50 of store credit when you give them your old iPhone. Customers can pick up the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus for $0 and either 27.08 or $31.24, respectively.

Verizon's trade-in offer isn't as good as the rest of the carriers, only giving userrs up to $200 towards a new iPhone if they trade-in their old iPhone 5s, 5, 5c, 4s or iPhone 4. You can also pick up a 16GB iPhone 6 from Verizon for $199 with a new two-year agreement, or a new iPhone 6 Plus (16GB) for $299 on a new two-year plan.

Retail Stores

A bunch of retailers are also selling the new iPhones. You can pick up a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus tomorrow at the following locations: Best Buy, RadioShack, Target, Staples, Sams Club and Walmart. For a detailed list of what each store is offering, check out Yahoo's write up.
