CMA Awards 2014 Performers, Nominees & Winners: When & Where to Watch Full Show

By Auj Lazaro| Sep 04, 2014

The 2014 Country Music Awards list of nominees has finally been announced with artists like Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban taking the lead.

According to Just Jared, the first set of nominees was revealed by country superstars Darius Rucker along with Little Big Town on "Good Morning America."

Miranda Lambert, the singer behind the hit song "Automatic," got nine nominations this year, similar to the number of nominations she got in 2010. She is the first female artist who bagged the most number of nominations in the entire history of the popular awards event, reported Rolling Stone.

Dierks Bentley came in second during the morning announcement of Rucker-- taking the lead among the male artists with a total of five nominations.

Coming in at third and fourth place were Eric Church and Keith Urban respectively with four nominations each.

"Shake it Off" singer Taylor Swift is nominated for just one category, Female Vocalist of the Year. Many are curious whether the 24-year-old singer-songwriter will still remain as a CMA darling now that she has obviously shifted into the pop genre with her latest "1989" album.

The 48th CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and soon-to-be mom, Carrie Underwood. The awards night will be broadcasted live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on November 5. It will air at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

We'll have to wait until then for the winners but the complete list of nominees is below.
