Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade ensures that his wedding to Gabrielle Union would be an exclusive celebration because of the outrageous privacy measures every guest has to say yes to.
Guests will have to sign a confidentiality agreement, TMZ Sports disclosed, commenting that the athlete and the actress might have overdone it. The contract demands everyone to keep whatever they witness at the ceremonies on Saturday to themselves, the report added, noting that violators will pay dearly.
TMZ is claiming that it obtained a copy of the confidentiality agreement which can mete out monetary damages when overstepped.
Even relatives, vendors and caterers will have to sign before they could enter the venue in South Florida, the report added. The confidential information include financial and personal details.
This news comes after a recent TMZ report broke that no cameras and phones can make it inside the venue, but not without noting that their guest list is riddled with social media addicts.
According to the report, the reminder was in the wedding invitations that enjoined the guests to "Put on your dancing shoes and join us for a THROW DOWN." Guests were instructed to meet at a famous hotel where they will be transported to the mystery location of the rites.
It's "for the comfort of our guests and to protect our privacy," the invitation said, as quoted by TMZ, which couldn't help but notice that social media-savvy LeBron James and Chris Bosh are attending.
BET.com said the extension to the previous effort to go incognito goes for off-the-record comments witnessed at the occassion.
It will be the second marriage for both the actress and the NBA superstar. Union was previously married to NFL running back Chris Howard while Wade went through nasty divorce proceedings with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches, and the athlete was granted sole custody of his two boys, Newsone notes.
The legal document binds the guests even until the associated events, Fox Sports said, adding that the move is justified in this time when a photograph or document can instantly reach the Web and go viral, especially those of high-profile individuals like Wade, Union and some guests.
Larry Brown Sports agrees, saying that the maneuver could be tagged insane by normal people but privacy is a very big issue for famous people.
Fox Sports said, however, that the ceremonies will likely be bathed in royalty and fun, and that's also owing to their celebrity status.
But still, it is not hard to see that the confidentiality agreement will raise the price for the exclusive footage--whoever the lucky videographer is.
