Apple officially released the much talked about iOS 7 last September 18 and the roll out was met by confused reactions from some users.

iOS 7 was first introduced in June at this year's Worldwide Developers' Conference. Apple users can download the iOS 7 to iPhone 4, 4S and 5; iPod Touch 5th Generation; and iPad 2, 4 and Mini via over-the-air update or through iTunes.

iOS 7 heralded new design and features including the new iTunes Radio, which is the expanded version of iTunes and served as the new music streaming feature of Apple. The new OS update also comes with the new Control Centre that allows users to place frequently used features and apps on the front page of their U.I. for easy access.

Below are Top 10 tips and tricks that can help you in navigating the new Apple OS.

Control Centre - Control Centre is one of the new features that comes with iOS 7. To access the new Control Center, swipe up from the bottom of the display.

Restrict Apps in Eating Data - Users can now block apps that consume your data plan. Go to Settings> Cellular then scroll down and see the option to toggle on and off which apps can use your valuable data plan.

Add More Security - Passcode is another way of adding security to your device as you can lock your device with a password or a PIN. Go to Settings> General and selecting Passcode Lock.

New Siri Abilities and Features - Aside from a new voice, Siri can now help you listen to a voice mail. It can also be used to return a missed phone call. To make a request, simply open Siri with a long press on the home button.

Spotlight - You use the Spotlight feature when you are looking for contents in your iDevice. Swipe from the middle of your screen downwards to access spotlight.

Mail - E-mails inside of the Mail app can now be flagged, or marked as read or unread in a few simple steps. All you have to do is to click on the "Edit" button at the top right-hand side of the screen, then choose "Mark All" option in the lower left-hand corner. A popup window will then appear that will give you the option to either Flag e-mails or mark them all as Read or Unread.

Burst Mode - To take burst shots, simply press down the camera shutter and the camera will take 10 photos in succession.

Adjust Text - You can adjust the size and font of the text in your device to make it more readable. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility and toggle the Bold Text option to ON.

Block Callers - Do you want to block certain callers you do not want to hear from? With the new OS, users can now block calls. Go to a contact's entry and scroll down to the bottom and select "Block this Caller" to block a certain number or contact.

Gesture Controls on Safari - Navigate in Safari quickly and smoothly. Swipe to the right and see your previously visited pages and swipe to the left to move forward.
