It seems like Miami Heat star LeBron James will return to the team which took him in during his rookie years in the NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James' agent Rich Paul is said to be pushing his client to return to Cleveland, Yahoo Sports reports. The same report notes that Paul who is also the president of Klutch Sports, said that James will likely return to his previous team for the upcoming NBA season.

The agent, according to Yahoo Sports, claims that it was part of his mission to bring the NBA star back to the Cavaliers and that he has been "encouraging" the team to recruit James since he is now already a free agent.

Meanwhile, ESPN adds that LeBron is listening to their "pitch" to leave Miami Heat and return to Cleveland. The same article also said that it is not yet sure if the star player is indeed leaving the team that gave him two NBA championships but that LeBron is considering his options with the Cavs.

Sources of ESPN claim that LeBron is "interested" in the offer of the Cavs now that he is a free agent. They add that Paul has already met with Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert to discuss the player's possible return to Cleveland.

In the next days, James and Heat president Pat Riley are expected to meet, CBS Sports said. The outlet adds that they are likely to discuss his future in the NBA.

The meeting is also expected to bring clarity to James' future with the Heat and reveal Riley's plans to acquire other free agents for his team.

A Yahoo Sports source called LeBron as the "ultimate recruiter." The source adds, "But he hasn't been any part of this process. The first question they all ask is the same: 'Do I get to hear from LeBron? What's he going to do?'"

But the the rumors of James' choosing Cleveland again is a "trendset" as CBS Sports termed it because the player will be going back to a city which reminds him of his "failures and miseries."

The Cavaliers, according to Yahoo Sports, should "dutifully" make the moves to fight for James and give him a great offer.

But for now, it seems like the only thing that Cavaliers have left to do is what magic Paul can pull out to eventually encourage James to go back to Cleveland. James, however, still have a lot of options which he is "carefully" condsidering to make the most out of his next season with the NBA.
