Kristen Bell Pregnant; Second Baby With Dax Shepard Confirmed

By Staff Reporter| Jun 24, 2014

Actress Kristen Bell, 22 and husband Dax Shepard, 38, are expecting their second child together. ET Online, confirmed the wonderful news through the pair's spokesperson.

"I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln," the couple's rep said. "The whole family is beyond excited."

The "Hit and Run" stars already have one daughter together, Lincoln who is nearly 15 months old.

"I love [motherhood]! She's absolutely intoxicating," said the former Veronica Mars actress to Us WeeklyMost recently, she told the same outlet that she's a very focused mom. "I want to be very hands on. I want to cook for my family and feel present for them. I'm always missing her when I'm not there."

The couple began dating in 2007 and Shepard officially made Bell his wife back in October 2013, after two years of being engaged. They are human rights advocates and have spoken out about their stand on gay rights as well as the privacy of children in Hollywood.

Back in February, ET Online recalls that Bell, known for being the voice behind the show "Gossip Girl," and her husband, founded the No Kids Policy which seeks to stop the proliferation of photos of celebrities children without permission.

"I've heard from a couple different people who certainly get stalked much more significantly than we do that it's quite literally changed their day to day lives with their kids," said the "Frozen" actress to The Huffington Post this month.

"I'm a firm believer that all we have is our collective consciousness. Moms especially, but parents and informed consumers just decided it was a line that shouldn't be crossed. We've started to see the results and I'm very grateful for it. I think it makes for a more positive media monster."

Additionally, Bell and Shepard famously waited two years to get married because they refused to wed until California, their home state legalized same-sex marriage.

In June 2013, the Supreme Court ruled the Defense of Gay Marriage Act as unconstitutional and the couple quickly took to Twitter to announce they were finally walking down the aisle.

What happened to the long-awaited wedding? HollywoodLife.com reports they headed to the Beverly Hills County Clerk Office with the plan to obtain a license but the "Parenthood" and "House of Lies" stars were told they could get married right then and there - and they did.

Congratulations are in order for the well-rounded and lovable pair. This second blessing is something Bell has been open about and told DailyMail UK

"I would love to give [Lincoln] a sibling," she shared. "I had two older sisters and I think the relationship between siblings is so special. You're able to share that, "We're all in this together' feeling."
