Reflections on Frida Kahlo, Slant gallery in Dallas Hosts Collective Exhibit Inspired by Mexican Great

"The Frida Show," an eclectic invitational exhibit honoring the life, influence and inspiration of the iconic artist, Frida Kahlo opened Jan. 18 with an artist's reception at Slant gallery in Dallas. The exhibit will be on display until March 8, 2014 .

Participating artists include Jose Vargas, Enrique Fernandez Cervantes, Merry Fuhrer, Steve Danner, Angie Bolling, Kelly Bartlett, Kim Worthington, Sherry Houpt, VET, Johanna Roffino Hulsey, Rita Barnard, Lynne Buchanan, Sharon Neel Bagley, Karen Jacobi, April Greenlee,  Laurie Mahoney, Vicki Charlotta, and Jacque Forsher.

Gallery view times are Fridays, 6-8 p.m., Saturdays, Noon-6 p.m. and Sundays Noon-4 p.m. SLANT Gallery is located in Valley View Mall at 13331 Preston Rd. Suite #2218, Dallas, Texas.
