Deadpool surely knows how to make a grand entrance.

The last movie trailer for "Deadpool" aired during Super Bowl 50 this week and features the wise-cracking and extremely violent titular anti-hero poking fun at athletes who irresponsibly plant their seeds.

In the short TV spot, which you can watch below, the Merc with the Mouth revealed that it was always his dream to become a professional athlete for no other reason than to "have children in cities all over the world." Cinema Blend noted that the jab was clearly directed at notoriously promiscuous NFL players and other major league athletes.

Deadpool's sports-related quip is the latest promotional video from 20th Century Fox which showcases the masked vigilante's penchant for unadulterated R-rated humor and gore. Fox's extensive TV and online campaigning for the movie includes Deadpool giving a public service announcement to Australia while another clip shows the blabbermouth trying to form his own superhero team.

Screen Rant reported that the last "Deadpool" trailer won't be the final time Ryan Reynolds and company get to promote the film. There will be a press junket this weekend near Levi's Stadium in San Francisco where the 39-year old actor will reportedly dress as Deadpool and give away chimichangas to lucky passers-by.

To the uninitiated, "Deadpool" tells the story of ex-special forces operative Wade Wilson. Shortly after knowing he has contracted a terminal decease, Wilson decides to enlist himself to a covert experiment which ultimately bestows him a slew of superhuman powers but leaves him heavily scarred and disfigured, per Deadline.

"Deadpool" is directed by first-time director Tim Miller, who was involved in the production of "Thor: The Dark World" and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." The movie is produced by Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg and Ryan Reynolds himself.

The action-comedy superhero flick is written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. Starring alongside Reynolds are Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano Brianna Hildebrand and Yorick Van Wageningen. "Deadpool" will hit US theaters this Friday, Feb. 12.

The movie has already been exclusively screened in selected areas, and movie reviewers were surprisingly thrilled by how the movie turned out. Alonso Duralde of The Wrap said the film aptly balances a serious plot line with everything that is expected from a Deadpool outing.

"It's a film that's amused with itself, but thanks to a screwball screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and a charmingly snarky lead turn by Ryan Reynolds, that amusement is both thoroughly earned and completely contagious," explained the movie critic.
