Jennifer Lopez's Mom Steals Daughter's Las Vegas Show with Great Dance Moves: Like Mother Like Daughter

The mom of Latina singer Jennifer Lopez proved that she is also a great dancer during her daughter's Las Vegas residency show on Wednesday.

E!Online reported that Lopez's mother, Guadalupe, was dancing and singing to the lyrics of her daughter's songs.

Hoda Kotb of Today recounted that she sat beside J.Lo's mom for the entire show, and saw her perform her best dance moves like fist pumping, while Lopez was performing "On the Floor."

It seems like the singer got her great moves from her mom.

According to Hollywood Life, Guadalupe enjoyed dancing and partying in the front row of Planet Hollywood's AXIS Arena, along with Kelly Osbourne and Rebel Wilson.

The energetic mom knew every word to her daughter's songs, given that she has been with Lopez during rehearsals as well as for the show's preview night, last Jan. 19.

But E!Online noted that she wasn't all about partying that night, since she also had to look after Lopez's twin children, Emme and Max, who also watched the show to support their mom.

"When there was a risque part, the grandma, J. Lo's mom, took the babies, took the kids, and put their heads, like, to her chest so that the kids weren't watching what was going on," added Kotb.

For the opening night of her "All I Have" show in Las Vegas, Lopez wore colourful, almost nude costumes, designed by Zuhair Murad, and danced with male dancers on hoverboards.

News.com.au added that she also performed some of her songs with Ja Rule, Pitbull and Ne-Yo.

Aside from performing her well-known hits like "Waiting for Tonight," "If You Had My Love," and "Dance Again," the pop singer also paid tribute to her Latin roots, with the songs "Quimbara," "Quien Sera" and "Let's Get Loud."

Asked about how she considered the 90-minute Vegas opening show, Lopez told People that it was "spectacular."

"We wanted to create a really unique show that was really unique to Vegas that only I could do, and I really felt like we did that," she added.

Lopez added that she was not nervous during her performances. In fact, she was rather excited because she and the entire production team prepared well for it.

She also noted that she felt very lucky to be able to give a good show to her fans on Wednesday night, which also included Justin Bieber, Leah Remini and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

J.Lo's boyfriend, Casper Smart, could not resist himself from gushing about Lopez's hard work.

"She is Wonder Woman. I'm telling you, between the number one show, Shades of Blue, American Idol, this, she's all over the place," Smart told 9News.
