Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Rumors: Three-Sided Display, Release With a Wearable Device

Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 is still over half a year away, but it looks like some of the first concrete details about the device are beginning to drip out. A new Bloomberg report reveals that the next-generation Galaxy Note could feature a three-sided display.

"Samsung's next Galaxy Note handset may use a three-sided display so messages can be read from an angle. The latest model will be released in the second half of this year and be aimed at the high-end segment," reads the Bloomberg report.

"We are targeting consumers who want more professional use and tend to be willing to pay more for handsets," Samsung's executive vice president of the company's mobile business Lee Young Hee told Bloomberg.

This isn't the first time that Bloomberg has reported a three-sided display will grace the Galaxy Note 4.

It was as early as November of last year that Bloomberg wrote, according to unnamed inside sources, "Samsung Electronics Co. (005930) plans to release a Galaxy smartphone next year with a three-sided display that wraps around the edges so messages can be read from an angle."

Samsung Design America studio head Dennis Miloseski also recently made some comments hinting that Samsung would release some new wearable devices alongside its flagships. This could mean that a wearable device will accompany a Galaxy Note 4 release in the second half of the year.
