On Tuesday, Nintendo is expected to announce something great for the "Super Smash Bros. 4," which is claimed to be about future DLC plans for the game.

Christian Today said fans are now very excited on the release of the game, especially with the inclusion of "Final Fantasy VII's" main protagonist, Cloud Strife, in the next title.

It also noted that Tuesday's lifestream event could finally announce the official addition of Cloud Strife to the game "via DLC release." There is also the possibility that Nintendo will announce when that will happen.

According to iDigitalTimes, Nintendo may also introduce new characters to the game with around two DLC slots left.

"It would be perfectly in keeping with past Super Smash Bros Direct presentations to announce a new character right here at the very end," added the same report, noting that the developer could even include Banjo-Kazooie or Shovel Knight in the game.

It added that a big announcement will happen on Tuesday since Nintendo loves to surprise its gamers, just like "Super Smash Bros. 4" creator Masahiro Sakurai.

Expected to come out by next year, "Super Smash Bros. 4" is believed to come with redefined gameplay, with the crossover of Cloud from "Final Fantasy VII," as per Yibada.

Aside from these new additions, Christian Today said the game will also introduce new stages to the game "in lieu of Cloud Strife's arrival." The locations are said to be related to the character's original world back in "Final Fantasy VII."

Nintendo is also scheduled to reveal the new characters who will be part of the game after they were chosen by the fans through the "Fighters Ballot."

N4BB said the ballot, which was launched last year and ended in October, gave the public the power to vote for the characters they wanted to be part of the game.

"Characters receiving the most votes would be seriously considered by Nintendo to be added as a fighter," the same report added.

Along with the game updates, the same report noted that the company will also introduce its new gaming device called the Nintendo NX.

This is said to be "a hybrid machine that will function both as a console like the Wii U, and a handheld like the 3DS."

Yibada said the device may start mass production by March 2016 and will likely launch during the third quarter.

The Nintendo NX will complement the "Super Smash Bros. 4" and other hit game titles like "The Legend of Zelda."
