2016 will kick off with a brand new movie, "Kung Fu Panda 3," the third installment from the animated film lead by the very loved panda, Po. As this year is about to end and the month of January is quickly approaching, a new trailer of the flick was released to tease its fans.

According to Movie News Guide, the upcoming 3D American-Chinese film will feature three real-life, black and white panda bears from China. These are only living panda triplets, named Mena Meng, Ku Ku and Shuai Shuai. All three will be included in the computer-animated movie.

GB Times reported that since it is becoming more known that pandas are becoming extinct, "Kung Pu Panda 3" aims to bring awareness about the lives of this furry animal. This, too, is to show people how to look after pandas to help them grow healthy and increase in number.

In fact, Oriental DreamWorks' CEO, Fang Gan, said that the reason why they featured these animals into this movie is to make everyone understand the life of pandas and to have the knowledge about China's culture.

Movie News Guide added that the new trailer revealed the hidden community where Po, as voiced by Jack Black, has a lot of panda relatives and friends. To recall, in the previous "Kung Fu Panda" movies, Po thought that he was alone and didn't have any family to turn to.

But, everything changed when he meets "his long-lost" father, who took him to the "Panda Village," where his clan stays. However, his reunion with his fellow pandas was cut short as a new villain, named Kai, tracks them in China, wanting to take all the "Kung Fu Masters" down.

Fortunately, Po has his friends, including Tigress, Monkey, Shifu, and Viper to help him up. Rotoscopers noted that the "Kung Pu Panda 3" is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni and written by Aibel and Glenn Berger.

The animated martial arts film wouldn't be complete without the voices Angelina Jolie as Tigress, Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, Lucy Liu as Viper, Seth Rogen as Mantis, Jackie Chan as Monkey, David Cross as Crane, James Hong as Mr. Ping, and Randall Duk Kim as Master Oogway. Also, other actors will include with Kate Hudson as Mei Mei, Bryan Cranston as Li, and J.K.Simmons as Kai.

"Kung Pu Panda 3" is set to hit theaters on Jan. 29, 2016 by Dreamworks Animation and Oriental DreamWorks. Watch the official trailer by Dream Works TV.
