The international trailer of "Captain America: Civil War" not only delivered a taste of the film's action-packed plot, but also introduced one of Marvel's big heroes: Black Panther.

Cinema Blend notes that since there is comparatively very little known about the character, the first look at him in action in the trailer introduced in "Jimmy Kimmel Live" proved to be an awesome treat for Marvel fans.

For those who were not able to watch it yet, here it is.

The clip released for the third "Captain America" solo film shows several action scenes involving Chadwick Boseman's character together with key characters in the movie.

In one scene, the Black Panther is engaged in a chase with Bucky Barnes a.k.a. The Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan, who was revealed to be a wanted person in the trailer.

That particular sequence also involved Captain America (Steve Evans), who appeared to be chasing after his best friend's pursuer to prevent Bucky from getting caught.

Another one showed a fight between T'Challa and Bucky, where the Wakanda protector lands what Cinema Blend described as "a flying double spin kick," driving the former Winter Soldier off of his feet.

Previous reports describing the initial release of the "Civil War" trailer showed Captain America warning his war buddy that he is indeed being pursued by a couple of people because of the things he did while he was still the Winter Soldier.

It is still unclear why T'Challa is joining these people in pursuit of Bucky, though past rumors pegged the Wakandan ruler on Team Iron Man as noted by LatinOne.

According to Marvel's character database, T'Challa became the "Black Panther" after his senses and physical attributes were enhanced into "superhuman levels" by a heart-shaped herb.

He hails from Wakanda and is a royal descendant of a warrior race. He is highly skilled in battle, though he prefers unarmed combat, even if he is also capable of using a wide variety of weapons.

He is also described as a strategist, scientist, tracker, and a brilliant tactician, which makes him a formidable foe once faced in combat.

While this basic information can provide a gist of what to expect from the "Black Panther," the best way to find out more information about him is to keep your eyes peeled for more updates on the upcoming 2016 movie, "Captain America: Civil War," as well as the stand-alone "Black Panther" flick scheduled for theatrical release on July 6, 2018.
