Microsoft Xbox Elite Console Review: Where to Get the Best Deal

The newest addition to Microsoft's line of Xbox One consoles, the Elite, is available this month for but charges an extra $150 for its new controller but a gamers and fans say this amount is worth the gaming experience.

According to The Verge, the basics of the console is almost similar to a standard Xbox One but noted that it comes with a 1TB solid state hybrid drive and new Xbox One Elite Controller.

It added that the Elite controller works for two players who like to play for hours using their Xbox One consoles.

"The thumbsticks feel a lot better than the regular Xbox One controller, and the textured grips made the controller slide around a lot less in my hands. I've had issues with my regular controller thumbsticks feeling a little sticky at times, but the Elite ones feel very smooth and precise thanks to their metal construction," said Tom Warren in his The Verge review.

Meanwhile, News.com.au said the customizable parts of the controller also come in various shapes and sizes to have it suit a gamer's hand. In addition, the D-pad is also a great help for an "easier and more reliable execution" of moves during a game.

With the new Xbox One Elite controller, players can also add four rear trigger which could be utilized to copy other input on the controller.

"This feature means you don't have to remove your thumbs from the controller sticks when deep into a hectic gaming session," added News.com.au.

The same report explained that the console also added an application to aid to its customization.

"Create as many controller profiles as you like in the app and have tailored settings for any game. Load two profiles on the controller and instantly change between them with the built-in Profile Switch. The possibilities are virtually limitless," Xbox was quoted as saying in the news.com.au report.

The Xbox One website said that getting the Elite bundle will give readers 20 percent faster action even on energy-save mode. It added that this console also stores data on the fastest part of the console to load games quicker.

For those looking for great deals of the Elite console, VG247 noted that the 1TB Elite Bundle is offered for the Black Friday sale for only $499, a $50 off from its original price. The game is also available on BestBuy for the same discounted price.

More gamers are expected to grab these Elite deals because of the positive reviews from gaming sites and known gamers in the industry.
