Thanksgiving 2015: Which Stores Are Open & Which Are Closed On the Eve of Black Friday

There are some stores all across the nation that refuse to be open on the eve of Black Friday. Many of these big name stores will want shoppers to wait until after Thanksgiving to get a head start on holiday shopping bargains.

Shoppers all across the country are wondering which shops are open on the eve of Black Friday in order to get a jumpstart on their holiday shopping. While there are some stores that are closed on the eve of Black Friday in order to let shoppers everywhere enjoy their Thanksgiving dinners, there are those stores that are open for those who want to do some last minute shopping, as reported by Fox 8.

Many shoppers choose hit Black Friday sales to strike up some good holiday sales, while some would opt to go to watch the spectacle of shoppers jostling each other to get good deals. Here is a list of confirmed stores that are closed on Thanksgiving:

Alternatively, there are stores that are open on 6 p.m. on Thursday and close at midnight. These stores also open its doors at 6 a.m. on Black Friday reports Valley News Live. Several retail stores have already announced their Black Friday deals which are sure to make shoppers everywhere not miss out on these deals. 

Target- The clothing store will open its doors on 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Promotions have started in November, while online shoppers will get free shipping and returns until December 25.   

Amazon- The online retail giant launched its Black Friday deals a little early this year. Amazon launched the Black Friday Deals store on Nov. 2 and offered "tens of thousands of deals" on a huge sort of items, including electronics, toys and clothing.

Macy's- this shopping mall will kick off the holiday shopping season by opening on Thanksgiving 6 p.m. The store had already offered a preview of some of its Black Friday deals and will unveil more deals online starting Nov 16.

Walmart- The store will start its online Black Friday Sales online at 3 a.m. on Thanksgiving. Walmart stores in different areas will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Walmart has already launched a '10 daily deals' promo which will run through the entire holiday period.
