There are five Latin Americans killed in the terrorist attacks in Paris last Friday, including three Venezuelans, two Brazilians, a dual Mexican and American national, three Chileans and a Mexican.

Two Brazilians and one Mexican are recovering from injuries sustained in the attacks.

In the aftermath of a terror filled evening in Paris yesterday, many cities around the world lit their monuments in the colors of the French flag. In Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redemer was lit in blue, red and while.

Many Brazilians lit candles and draped themselves in the french flag in honor of the hundreds of dead, the victims and the injured. As well as for the Parisians, that are mourning not just their citizens but also for their city.

In Long Beach, California, the parents of Nohemi Gonzalez, a dual Mexican and American citizen killed during the terror attacks, are among the student and mourners who came with lit candles for her at a vigil.

Gonzalez was on a semester abroad in Paris, she was a design student at Calfornia University Long Beach and was 23 years-old when she was killed.
