‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ Celebrates Its 2000th Episode: Jennifer Anniston & Justin Timberlake Surprise Host

Life is quite exciting for host Ellen DeGeneres. Just recently, she shared with fans the new trailer for Disney/Pixar's "Finding Dory", about the blue tang fish with short-term-memory loss that serves as a sequel to the 2013 animated film "Finding Nemo."

But more than that, Ellen is celebrating the 2,000th episode of her daytime show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". She joked about the milestone episode, "I'll tell you something, if someone had told me I was gonna make 2,000 shows, first of all, I would've asked for a lot more money. I would have said, 'You're crazy.' 2,000 is a lot."

She was surprised when two of her "most favorite people" called her to share the special episode: Jennifer Aniston and Justin Timberlake.

Jennifer Aniston, USA Today noted, was Ellen's guest on her very first episode. For the 2000th episode, the former 'Friends' actress surprised the host by bringing a replica of the welcome mat she gifted Ellen on that first day. Jen directed to the audience, "Do you know how hard it is to surprise this person?"

However, it seems that Jen was able to pull it off, as did another person who the "Friends" star introduced by saying that it's "time to sort of bring sexy back."

The second person to surprise Ellen on the same episode is Justin Timberlake, who, as it turned out, is also the second-ever guest in the show.

Both Jen and Justin were extremely proud of themselves for their ability to keep a secret from Ellen, which they celebrated with toasts of tequila, although Justin noted, "I thought for sure you knew or you'd find out."

And that's not the last of Ellen's surprise for this monumental moment, either. According toPeople, the President and CCO of Warner Bros Television Group, Peter Roth, announced that for the fourth time in the studio's history, a stage will be named in Ellen's honor.

Roth said as he presented a plaque to misty-eyed Ellen, "I officially dedicate Stage 1, which forever more will be now known as The Ellen Stage."

The last celebrity who helped Ellen celebrate her 2,000th episode are Kerry Washington, who performed her own rendition of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on the tuba, to win money for her charities, The Purple Purse Initiative and Turnaround Arts. Her gift for Ellen are some Olivia Pope-style "Scandal" wine glasses and a bottle of red, adding to the host, "You really have changed the landscape of how we love each other in the world."
