Futbol News: Luis Adriano Believes Neymar Can Eclipse Messi & Reynaldo

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are considered as the best players from the football world today. But fellow footballer Luiz Adriano believed that Neymar has the talent to surpass the ability of the two players.

According to Goal, Adriano thinks that Neymar can be the world's greatest player before the season ends. Messi and Ronaldo have their fair share at the last seven Ballon d'Or awards and dubbed as two of the best footballers in the game today.

But Neymar is having a marvelous year as he managed to score every game in the quarterfinals of Barcelona's Champions League triumph last season. He, too, hit the ground with 11 goals in just 10 Liga outings.

"What impresses me the most about [Neymar] is his humility," the 28-year-old striker told Goal. "He does not seem to be Neymar, one of the best players in the world. He is not the kind of player that knows that he has a huge potential and wants to be bigger than the others."

Adriano claimed that Neymar is far different from everyone else. "He likes to play with everyone. He talks before, during and after meals. He is a great teammate and a nice person."

"But he also has all the quality to fight with [Messi and Ronaldo]. You just need to see what he does in the games, in the Champions League with Barcelona, and with Brazil," he continued. "I really don't think he is below Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. Neymar can pass both of them -- even this season."

Meanwhile, Adriano said "there are no first-team regulars" at Milan and the game against Juventus is "like a final." He claimed that the fight between Rossoneri and Bianconeri is one of the "most important matches of the season," Football Italia reported.

To recall, the Brazilian once joined Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer and faced the Old Lady defenders in the Champions League for the Ukrainian side. "I think I can help my teammates, as I've always tried to do," he said to Milan Channel.

"Here first-team regulars don't exist and I must be ready to help the team by scoring goals and getting points for the club," he continued. "I think the team that scores first will have the chance to win by controlling and managing the game."

"Mihajlovic has many strikers beyond me and Bacca like Niang and Balotelli, but playing a good match is more important than who plays." Serie A will be live streamed in the U.K. and the U.S.A.
