'Halo 5: Guardians' Tips & Tricks: How to Beat Your Enemies During Multiplayer Matches

For "Halo 5: Guardians" players and fans, you may need all the help you can get to survive multiplayer matches of this new game installment.

TheBitBag said to be able to do well in the game, players should "muster" all available skills to be able to win the matches.

As for new movements, the same report said that one can use the "Dash" to proceed to any direction in order to avoid the enemy.

"Make sure that your Dash is available for use whenever an enemy is around," advised TheBitBag.

On the other hand, Smart Link can also be used to change the movement of a player like slowing down descent while a player is on air.

"This is useful as you can focus your aim at the enemy, however, only use this when you really need to because you'll be an easy prey for other Spartans," the same report added.

It would also be a wise move to always aim to protect yourself against the enemies and to plan moves for every match.

In addition, The Verge noted that resource management and strategy also play great roles in the completion of the game.

"You have two grenades, two guns, and limited bullets - do you unload an entire clip at that enemy in the distance? Or close the gap, boxing your foe out with two carefully thrown frags, before stripping their shield with your plasma pistol? Or do you go quiet and try to sneak up on them for an execution kill?" added the same report.

Meanwhile, the Crossfire (Breakout multiplayer map) is said to provide a great place for a standoff.

"This map offers in-your-face, relentless combat," added SegmentNext.

It added that the Shotgun is the key weapon and power-up needed for this multiplayer game. SegmentNext noted that players also need to have good chemistry, as well as, great individual skills to be able to easily survive this phase.

"There is plenty of cover in the map, but it largely comes down to moving from cover to cover and shooting in a stand-off. While initiating an advance, you should always do so through the Pit while staying close to the wall of the House," noted the same report.

Despite the challenge it poses to the game, The Verge said that the multiplayer mode of "Halo 5: Guardians" is considered to be one of its strengths.

The said game became available exclusively on the Xbox One with game developer 343 Industries making a technology to track gaming behaviors such as quitting matches, excessive disconnects, idling, betrayals or team killing and intentional suicides, as per Gamespot.

343 Industries noted that this move was a way "to maintain the quality of the Arena experience and sanctity of competition, a number of rules are in place for all Arena playlists."
