OnePlus 2 vs Moto X Pure: Specs, Feature & Everything You Need to Know, Which Budget Flagship is the Better Buy?

Here's how OnePlus 2 and Motorola's new flagship Moto X Pure compare with each other.

Design and Display

The OnePlus 2, which comes in Sandstone Black color, weighs 175 grams and with a dimension of 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.85 mm, OnePlus indicated on its website. It has a 5.5-inch display with a 1080p full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen resolution at 401 PPI. The smartphone also has a bottom-facing speaker, as well as a dual-microphone with noise cancellation.

Motorola's Moto X Pure, in contrast, weighs 179 grams with the dimensions 153.9 mm x 76.2 mm x 6.1 to 11.06 mm, the company indicated on its website. The device, which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology, comes with a 5.7-inch display with 1440p Quad HD (1440x2560) resolution at 520 PPI.

The Moto X Pure device has water repellent nano-coating as well as front-facing stereo speakers with Smartboost, Motorola noted on its website. Interested buyers can choose from four base models: Black with Dark Gray metal frame and Black soft grip back, White with Silver metal frame and Bamboo back, White with Light Gold metal frame, and Winter White soft grip back.

Specs and Performance

The OnePlus 2 is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 1.8GHz Octa-core CPUs, OnePlus' website noted. The device comes in two variants: a model with 64GB internal storage and 4GB of RAM, and a version with 16GB of storage and 3GB of RAM.

Serving as the OnePlus 2's operating system is OxygenOS based on Android 5.1, the website added. A 3,300 mAh LiPo battery provides juice to the handset. Other notable features are: a 13-megapixel primary camera (f/2.0 aperture) with dual-LED flash and 6 lenses to prevent distortion and color aberration, a 5MP front-facing camera, a USB Type-C port, and 2 nano SIM slots.

The Moto X Pure is powered by the Motorola Mobile Computing System and a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with hexa-core CPU, its website indicated. It has 3GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 3000 mAh battery, TurboPower that allows 10-hour usage from 15 minutes of charging, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage variants, and a micro SD card support up to 128GB.

Other features of the Moto X Pure are: a 21MP primary camera (f/2.0 aperture) with Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) flash with dual LEDs and a 5MP front-facing shooter, Motorola's website added.

Price

The OnePlus 2's 16GB model can be purchased at $329, while its 64GB variant has a $389 price tag. Techno Buffalo reported that the 64GB version is "the only one currently in stock now that invites are no longer required for purchase."

The Moto X Pure starts selling at $400, according to Motorola's website.
