Apple recently upgraded its line of iMacs, most notably the 27-inch iMac models. Along with the upgraded Apple desktop computers, the tech company also introduced its latest line of Magic accessories, which include a new keyboard, mouse and trackpad.

According to The Verge, Apple has upgraded every model of the 27-inch iMac with 5K display, so buyers can now get a better screen resolution for $1,799. Apple's official website explains that the new 5K display has a total of 15.7 million pixels, which means it has seven times more pixels than an HD display.

The Verge further states that the enhanced display can show 25 percent more color, thanks to Apple's new technology. Made up of red-green phosphor LEDS, the new display technology is specifically made to enhance the reproduction of reds and greens, compared to the typical LED tech that concentrates on blue hues.

To match the stunning screen, Apple has also upgraded the internal make-up of the 27-inch iMac. Apple desktop users now have more power at their fingertips, since Intel's new Skylake processors will run every model in the 27-inch iMac line.

Apple Insider explains that the most basic model will be packed with a 3.2 GHz Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. It is also built with an AMD Radeon R9 M380 graphics card, which has 2GB of VRAM. The base model will cost $1,799 USD, reports Apple's website.

The next 27-inch model costs about $2000 USD and upgrades the 1TB hard drive to a 1TB Fusion Drive. The graphics card is also upgraded to Radeon R9 m390. Meanwhile, the top of the line 27-inch iMac will cost $2,299 USD. It includes a 3.3 GHz Core i5 processor, a 2TB Fusion Drive and comes with a Radeon R9 M395 graphics card.

However, if these specs are still not enough, Apple has given buyers the option to customize their order. For instance, the high-end 27-inch iMac can be upgraded even further to include a 4GHz Core i7 processor, 32GB of RAM and a 3TB Fusion Drive. Shoppers can also upgrade the graphics card to a Radeon R9 M395X card with 4GB of VRAM.

Along with the enhanced internal hardware, Apple has also introduced better accessories for the iMac. All 27-inch iMacs will come with the wireless Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse, which can be charged using the Lightning-to-USB cable.

In addition, Apple unveiled the Magic Trackpad 2, which is also chargeable. Unfortunately, buyers will have to shell out an extra $129 for the trackpad, reports Computer World.

The 27-inch iMac is now available at Apple.com, Apple stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers.
