The well-received 2014 fantasy role-playing game, "Divinity: Original Sin," will have PS4 and Xbox One versions with release date set for Oct. 27.

Officially called "Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition," the game is currently available for pre-order with a price tag of $59.99 for PS4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, it will be free for existing owners of the game's original PC, Mac and SteamOS versions, according to Eurogamer

Aside from the "Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition" release date news, the report also also revealed that the latest version will have a split-screen coop and an online coop. "In addition, the Enhanced Edition brings fully-voiced and remastered dialogues, new quests, new combat styles, changes to the crafting system and a reworked storyline," the post read.

Furthermore, the game will feature the voices of Alix Wilton Reagan and Alec Newman. Gamers can also expect more endings from the game.

Describing the "Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition" as a "full makeover" of the original version, Swen Vincke previously told Gamespot that it will feature a "truckload" of changes and they were aiming for the PS4 and Xbox One versions to run at 1080p.

"We went a little too overboard with it; we called it an Enhanced Edition, but I really think that we made it much more than enhanced," the creative director shared.

Moreover, Larian Studios clarified during an interview with IGN back in May that "Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition" will be an entirely separate game, and not simply an update to the original RPG title.

"Both games will remain available on PC and Mac, and it is important to note that they are totally different entities, so if you've already bought Original Sin, you'll see separate listings for Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition in your Steam Library," the game developer explained.

The original 2014 PC version of "Divinity: Original Sin" has won more than 150 game of the year awards and nominations, according to WinBeta. Moreover, Larian Studios was able to sell more than 500,000 copies of "Divinity: Original Sin" since its launch.

"Divinity: Original Sin," as described in the game's official website, is an "isometric, single player and co-op multiplayer RPG with tactical turn based combat, featuring an innovative co-op dialog system, a highly interactive, systemic and reactive world, classless character development, and lots of choice and consequence situations."

"Shipped with the powerful editor the game was made with, allowing you to create your own single player and multiplayer adventures, and publish them online," the description further read.
