LeBron James is arguably one of the best basketball players of this generation. Like many superstar athletes, LeBron keeps a tiptop training regimen that he swears by.

According to health experts, LeBron James' workout regimen is a classic example of muscle building exercises paired off with the latest in cutting edge training techniques. This superstar athlete stands at 6 ft 8 and has played both the power forward and small forward positions. LeBron has won many awards, which includes for NBA MVP Awards.

Becoming the world's most dominant athlete to date is no easy feat, and requires discipline and maintenance. According to Fox Sports News, King James said that he was "stepping up his training" now that he is about to turn 31 this Dec. 30.

"I got a bit crazy with my workout regimen," James said. "In September, I was doing three-a-days, five days a week. So I believed I improved. Did I get enough rest? I don't think so. But I definitely improved and I feel good about where I am right now."

The Cavs' small forward spent the last weeks prepping himself for the upcoming NBA season, which is to be held in Miami. The basketball superstar was seen rigorously training with his personal trainer Mike Mancias, yoga instructors, as some of Cleveland's coaching personnel.

The superstar athlete was also asked the damning question of whether or not he thinks of how much time he has left as one of the greatest basketball players in the world. The four-time MVP admitted that Time did play a factor in all this.

"No, I don't. But I do also know that father time is undefeated. But I definitely don't think about me not being the best basketball player in the world. It's been that way for a while, so I kinda get used to it. I don't think about it." LeBron said.

James did admit that the losses "get worse and worse every year" as he was dealing with his fourth loss in six NBA Finals. He seemed confident with Coach David Blatt by his side, a report with Akron Beacon Journal said. The Cavs' will open against the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 27.

"I don't know just yet. What happened last year is last year. I think we can build off last year, the chemistry we had, but we can't build the success as far as wins and losses. It's a whole new year," James added.
