"Scream Queens" was off to a screaming start. The first episode of the horror comedy series fared well in the ratings and show creator Ryan Murphy said that there is a lot more insanity to be expected in the upcoming episodes.

The first episode of "Scream Queens" showed off a lot of character deaths as well as clever one-liners which would be enough to draw in fans of the horror genre. The red mask killer had mercilessly killed off Chanel no. 2 (Ariana Grande) in the first episode alone. Ryan Murphy teased that the upcoming episodes will only get crazier as the series progresses.

In a report with Entertainment Weekly, Murphy teased what was going down at the Kappa house in the upcoming episodes. He also revealed that there was a lot more to the red mask killer's identity than what many fans have thought.

"It's a big elaborate gothic story that plays out involving the baby in the bathtub and who rescued the baby in the bathtub," said Murphy. "It's a 20-year conspiracy of revenge that has been plotted and planned and it's all coming to a head this year at Kappa."

Much like the famed anthology series, "American Horror Story", there are some tidbits for viewers along the way. "We're designing it so that when everything is revealed it will all have been lined up in a way that you won't need much to explain it," said show co-creator Brad Falchuk.

"Scream Queens" will also feature a Thanksgiving episode with special guest stars Chad Michael Murray and Patrick Schwarzenegger who will play Chad Radwell's (Glen Powell). Lea Michele's character Hester will also bond over Chad. Both will reportedly share a "love for dead things". Both share a weird penchant over this common theme. Also, Hester will be given a makeover in the following episodes of "Scream Queens", which means Michele will be ditching the neck brace.

Murphy teased that Emma Robert's character has a "sad family life" because her mother forgets her name and does not invite her to the holidays. "You do find out that her mother is a horrible alcoholic who forgets to invite her home to family holidays and actually doesn't remember her name," said Murphy in a report with E!Online.

As for the big dramatic reveal of the serial killer? Murphy says that will happen towards the course of the season finale and will set the ground for an entirely new mystery in an entirely different location. "We're looking for anywhere from 4-5 people to continue on to the second season," revealed Murphy.

Be sure to catch "Scream Queens" on Fox on Tuesdays 9 pm.
