Two of the most awaited games from Rockstar Games are the "Grand Theft Auto 6" and "Red Dead Redemption 2." The talk of the town for quite some time, gamers are very much excited on what these upcoming installments will offer players and fans.

GTA 6

Master Herald said that "GTA 6" fans would want to see a female protagonist in the game, with Rockstar reportedly expressing its intention to do so in the near future.

It was added in an earlier Christian Post report that the portrayal of women in the previous release was criticized by fans.

Quoting Rockstar Games head writer Dan Houser, the Christian Post noted that the game developer has the intention to have a female character in the GTA series.

"Of course. We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things that we always think about. It didn't feel natural for this game [GTA 5] but definitely for the right game in the future - with the right themes, it could be fantastic," Houser explained.

Eva Mendes is rumored to be part of the upcoming game, with her real-life partner Ryan Gosling reportedly accepting a protagonist role.

Meanwhile, the Master Herald said Rockstar is planning to maintain having "multiple protagonists."

Expected to arrive as early as 2018, "GTA 6" will reportedly have wider scope and will include locations like Texas, Chicago, Portland or even London.

Because of the peak of the sales of its previous releases, Rockstar is reportedly pressured into producing a better and bigger game than the other installments.

As for the features of the game, GTA6GrandTheftAuto said fans are asking Rockstar to bring in the 1970s vibe, suited for mafias, encompassing corrupt government practices.

Red Dead Redemption 2

After its great success back in 2010, the franchise's second installment is now very much anticipated by gamers and fans.

VCPost said the game is rumored to arrive next year, as video game distributor Take Two Interactive confirmed that a project will be launched come 2016.

According to an earlier Express report, the development of "Red Dead Redemption 2" was also placed on the spotlight, when Rockstar San Diego posted a job listing, looking for a networking programmer specializing "in a wide range of gameplay mechanics found in a Rockstar open world game."

When it is introduced in the market, the game is believed to have upgraded multiplayer features and a gang mode which will allow players to choose if they want to be part of a gang or the police team.

Movie Pilot advised developers of the game that they could have Japan as the setting of the new game.

It also added that fans would want to see a "more dynamic fighting system" for this upcoming installment.
