NYPD cops arrested a man from California after allegedly flying across the country to stalk Angie Martinez.

Emanuelito Torres Delgado, 53, of Sacramento was apprehended at 12:15 PM Friday, the New York Post reported from sources. He was contacting the Power 105.1 radio personality on social media platforms and has been sending her unwanted gifts. Just recently, Torres Delgado showed up at the radio station's Tribeca headquarters and was escorted outside the premises by security.

According to prosecutors, Torres Delgado was ushered out but he "returned to the building approximately 20 minutes later and became aggressive with the security guards and again demanded to see" Martinez, the New York Post wrote.

On the same day, a post on his Facebook account showed a document requesting information from the city of New York about his "marriage" to Martinez, which he claimed happened on July 4, 1975, NY Daily News reported.

NY Daily News wrote that Torres Delgado "appears to be the operator of a deranged social media account that continually tweeted bizarre messages and pictures at Martinez." He also sent oddities to other celebrities like Stan Lee, veteran TV producer Norman Lear, and Pope Francis.

The Twitter account's handler reportedly tweeted a snapshot of an erotic DVD and sex toys to Martinez, Anthony Bourdain, Lee, and the Dalai Lama, NY Daily News added. On Sept. 3, the account posted a photo of a confirmation of a $598 JetBlue ticket for a red-eye flight from Sacramento to JFK, which was dated Sept. 5.

Police authorities added that Torres Delgado has been sending messages to Martinez for more than a year using different social media platforms, and referred to the former rapper as his "wife," the news outlet added.

"ANGELA MARTINEZ COME TALK TO OFFICER FAHY he knows I love you I put my rings back on in front of him. I took them off after feeling an insult we are still married," a Sept. 6 post on his Facebook account read. The post was accompanied with photos of Torres Delgado in Times Square.

Torres Delgado was arraigned on Saturday for misdemeanor charges of stalking, trespassing, and harassment, NY Daily News noted. He is currently held at the Manhattan Detention Complex and has yet to post a $5,000 bail.

Also issued was a temporary order of protection, which prohibits Torres Delgado to stay away from Martinez, the New York Post added.

In June 2014, Martinez, 44, moved from rap station Hot 97 to its rival Power 105.1. She was one of the most well-known and long-running DJs in the former, NY Daily News wrote.
