'Mockingjay Part 2' Star Jennifer Lawrence Speaks Out About Bed Pic With Kris Jenner

You probably heard by now that Jennifer Lawrence was caught with an OMG-worthy photo in bed next to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner.

There were a lot of speculation about it, but Jen finally spoke with The New York Times reporter Brooks Barnes about the pic, and it's not as weird as you think given Hollywood standards.

The "Mockingjay" actress explained, "My two best friends planned a surprise birthday party with a big surprise within the surprise."

As it turned out, when people started singing "Happy Birthday" to her, it was Kris Jenner who was holding her cake, much to the delight of the self-confessed Kardashian die-hard.

Jen said, "Kris Jenner comes out holding my cake, which is a pile of s**t, with a sign that says, 'Happy Birthday You Pile of S**t.' My knees buckled."

She also added that she was so excited, she literally fell down (not that it's new, everyone who's ever watched any awards show has seen her do that).

She continued, "It was the closest I've ever come to losing consciousness. I had NO IDEA. I'd never met her before but we've always watched Keeping Up With the Kardashians. And then Kris Jenner and I sang 'Build Me Up Buttercup' on karaoke and took that picture."

That picture was the controversial one, the pair apparently "caught" in bed together.

The original post was taken by Kris's boyfriend Corey Gamble and posted by the 59-year-old Kardashian momanger on her Instagram.

She even added a cute caption that read, "Happy Birthday you piece of s**t, God I love you #jenniferlawrence thanks for making this night a night to remember.....even if we did get caught... I love you Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!!"

Kris is not the only Kardashian that Jen met, though.

Kim revealed earlier in the year that she, too, came across Jen.

Kanye West's pregnant wife told E! News, "I was in NYC and I ran into Jennifer Lawrence. We said 'Hi' and walked into the elevator and as the doors were closing, she screamed across the lobby, 'I love your show.' We were laughing so hard."

See, even stars can get starstruck.

You probably won't catch Jen looking all star-struck, but you can watch her fight the Capitol alongside Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, and the rest of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" cast when the film premieres on November 18.
