DC Comics is flinging superhero after superhero on television, and the latest teaser for "Supergirl"shows that there will be a lot of high-flying action in the series - and a lot of DC characters as well.

Cinema Blend reported that "Supergirl" is adding a few other Justice League characters, including android villain-turned-good Red Tornado.

As for the villains, among those expected to make appearances are Non and General Sam Lane, who are reported to all be making their debut within the first nine episodes of the new series.

Non is popular in the DC universe and was previously played by Jack O'Halloran in "Superman" and "Superman II" on the silver screen.

General Sam Lane, on the other hand, is Lucy and Lois Lane's father, who has a history of distrust for aliens and superhumans - a character akin to Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) on "Arrow".

Speaking of Lucy Lane, she is also reported to be part of the series.

For those who want bigger names, you're in luck: Superman's presence will have an impact on "Supergirl" although you will be disappointed if you think you will actually get a glimpse of the Man of Steel.

CBS reported that DC Comics chief creative officer Geoff Johns said, "He will be a back-burnered life. You won't see him exactly on-screen. You will see him in the background, but he does play a part in her evolution of becoming a superhero."

Greg Berlanti is also in charge of CW's "Arrow" and "The Flash", so thoughts of crossovers came as soon as news of "Supergirl" for television came.

This possibility became even more plausible when Berlanit's name was attached to the project as well.

However, even though that can happen somewhere in the horizon, a crossover is not yet in the cards. Berlanti said at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, "We have obviously to make the shows really stand on their own."

He explained, "I always approach these things as a fan myself and I always love when there's a bigger universe at work, but at the same time these shows really have to function on their own."

"Supergirl" stars Melissa Benoist as the titular character. Acting alongside her are Mechad Brooks, Calista Flockhart, David Harewood, and Chyler Leigh.

Check out the world of Supergirl as she flies to the small screen. The series is set to premiere on October 26 on CBS.
