Nokia Lumia 520 Price, Specs, Features for Windows Phone 8 Smartphone in Amazon, Microsoft Store at $59 With Free Shipping [Video]

The world's most-utilized Windows Phone device is on sale in the United States courtesy of Amazon and the online Microsoft Store.

On Amazon.com, the Nokia Lumia 520 can be purchased for $59.99. The new price is a $40 savings due to a 40 percent discount from the original list price of $99.99.

Amazon is also offering to ship the Lumia 520 Windows Phone 8 smartphone for free since the product is an item worth more than $35.

At the online Microsoft Store, the Lumia 520 can be purchased at a slightly cheaper cost with a difference of $0.99 compared to Amazon's offer. The Lumia 520's $59 price at the online Microsoft Store is down from the $99 cost. Similar to Amazon, the Microsoft Store is offering free shipping and free returns with the purchase of the Lumia 520.

As Latino Post reported, the Lumia 520 maintained its position as the top Windows Phone device worldwide based on AdDuplex's figures. The Lumia 520 accounted for 26.5 percent of the Windows Phone devices ahead of the Lumia 920, and Lumia 620, which respectively represented second and third places. The Lumia 520 was No. 1 among Windows Phone 8 devices worldwide with 35.3 percent, also beating the Lumia 920, Lumia 620, and HTC 8X smartphones.

The Lumia 520 features a 4-inch screen display with 800x480 resolution and 223 pixels per inch. The rear-facing camera has 5 megapixels with 2,592x1,936 pixels while no secondary camera is present. The Lumia 520 has 8GB for internal storage with 512MB of RAM. In regards to wireless connectivity, the Lumia 520 can connect to the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. The Windows Phone 8 smartphone utilizes a 1,430mAh battery.

The Lumia 520 first made its debut at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain along with the Lumia 720.
