In an unlikely choice of cast members, Woody Allen surprised fans with his latest choice from the big pool that is Hollywood.

USA Today reported that Allen revealed his latest picks for his still untitled film on Tuesday.

The star-studded cast include "Gossip Girl" alum Blake Lively and "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart.

Bruce Willis is also in the mix, as well as Jeannie Berlin, Jesse Eisenberg, Parker Posey, Corey Stoll, Ken Stott, Anna Camp, Stephen Kunken, Sari Lennick, and Paul Schneider.

Missing from the list is Emma Stone, who has been Allen's muse in his last two films, last year's "Magic in the Moonlight", and this year's "Irrational Man" just released in theaters.

Fox News said that the Allen film will reunite Stewart and Eisenberg, who appeared together in 2009's "Adventureland" and again in "American Ultra," which will premiere later this month.

Even though she is best remembered as the vampire-loving teenager, Stewart has earned strong reviews from her more upscale roles, including her work opposite Julianne Moore in "Still Alice" and as an assistant in "Clouds of Sils Maria."

Her collaboration with Allen will mark another strong role for the actress, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Stewart is not the only main cast member to work with Allen for the first time. Fox News said that despite being a veteran actor, the yet-to-be-titled film will be Willis's debut with the acclaimed, often controversial director.

Allen is also set to direct a show for Amazon, a decision that had a lot of people scratching their heads.

Entertainment Weekly asked Amazon Studios chief executive, Roy Price, about the company's decision to include another Woody Allen project in the roster despite sexual assault allegations.

Price defended Allen's work by saying, "You know, Woody Allen is one of the greatest filmmakers America has ever produced, and we are going to be talking about people are going to be talking about Woody's films for a long, long time."

He also said, "I think you have to look at the whole picture but - yeah, take everything into account, but our focus is on the fact that he is a great filmmaker and storyteller. And so we look forward to the show in 2016."

The director is yet to reveal details of his latest film project, however, it is rumored to be shot in New York and Los Angeles.

For now, fans will have to take their fill with his recent release, "Irrational Man" which is currently in theaters, albeit welcomed with a mixed reception.
